Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an account or subscription?
No. Coach's Vault requires no account, login, or subscription. All features are available after a one-time purchase. Your data is stored locally on your device.
How do I set up the AI coaching and workout generator?
The AI features require your own Anthropic API key. Open Settings → Coach's Vault Setup → Claude API Key and paste your key. You can get one at
anthropic.com. All other features, tracking, logging, check-ins, peak week, work without it.
How do I connect Apple Health?
Open the app and go to Settings. Coach's Vault will request Health permissions on first launch. You can also manage permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Coach's Vault.
How does the Apple Watch companion work?
Install Coach's Vault on your iPhone first, then open the Watch app on your iPhone to install the companion. Start a workout session on your iPhone and it will sync to your Watch automatically. Set completions, rest timers, and heart rate data all sync in real time.
Can I use Coach's Vault without a competition date?
Yes. The competition date and show details are optional. You can use Coach's Vault as a general training and nutrition tracker without a scheduled competition.
How do I set up the supplement card on the Home screen?
The supplement card reads from the Cellular Keys app, another Praxis Training app available on the App Store. If you use Cellular Keys, your daily supplement schedule will appear automatically in Coach's Vault once both apps are installed on the same device.
Is my data backed up?
All data is stored locally on your device. It is included in your standard iCloud or iTunes device backup. We recommend keeping your device backup current, especially during peak week when your prep data is most valuable.
What happens if I delete the app?
Deleting the app removes all locally stored data, check-ins, training sessions, photos, and your profile. This cannot be undone. If you need to reinstall, restore from a device backup to recover your data.
How do I report a bug?

Privacy
Coach's Vault does not collect or transmit your personal data. All health, training, and progress information is stored locally on your device. For full details, see the Privacy Policy.
