Coach's Vault ("the App") is a competition prep and training tracker developed by John Tramell / Praxis Training LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information in connection with your use of it.
All data, including health metrics, training logs, progress photos, check-ins, and competition profiles, is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. No user account is required and no data is transmitted to Praxis Training LLC servers.
The following data is collected and stored locally on your device only:
This data never leaves your device except where you explicitly share it (e.g., via iOS Share Sheet). It is not uploaded to any server, synced to any cloud account associated with Praxis Training LLC, or accessible to us in any form.
With your permission, the App reads from and writes to Apple Health. This includes:
Health data is read and displayed within the App only. It is never transmitted to Praxis Training LLC or any third party. You can revoke Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
The App requests access to your camera and photo library to capture and store progress check-in photos. Photos are stored locally on your device and within the App's private container, and are never sent to Praxis Training LLC. Two optional AI features send a photo to Anthropic's Claude API using your personal key, and only after you review and agree to it in the app: the gym-equipment camera scan sends the machine image you capture, and AI physique analysis sends your check-in progress photos (up to three) to assess conditioning. See Section 5. If you never use those features, no photo leaves your device.
Coach's Vault includes an AI coaching chat and workout generator powered by Anthropic's Claude API. To use these features, you must provide your own Anthropic API key in Settings. When you send a message or generate a workout plan:
Anthropic's handling of API data is governed by their privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
The App includes an Apple Watch companion that communicates with your iPhone over a direct device-to-device connection using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. Workout data, set completions, and rest timer states are exchanged between your iPhone and Watch locally. No Watch data is transmitted to any external server.
If you also use Cellular Keys, Coach's Vault can display your daily supplement schedule by reading records from a private iCloud CloudKit container (iCloud.com.personal.praxissupplements). This container is associated with your personal Apple ID and is not accessible to Praxis Training LLC. No supplement data is transmitted to any Praxis Training LLC server.
Praxis Training LLC does not collect, store, or have access to:
There are no user accounts, no login, and no registration of any kind.
In-app purchases are facilitated by Apple's App Store. Apple's privacy policy governs their handling of payment and account data. The AI features use Anthropic's Claude API with your personal API key (see Section 5). No other third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs are included in the App.
Coach's Vault is intended for adult athletes and fitness competitors. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
All data is stored in your device's private App container using Apple's SwiftData framework. Photos are stored in the App's private sandbox. Your Anthropic API key is stored in your device's secure Keychain and is never transmitted to Praxis Training LLC. If you use other Praxis Training apps that support Claude, the key may be shared between them on your device via a shared Keychain group so you enter it once; it still never leaves your device or reaches Praxis Training LLC. Device-to-Watch communication uses Apple's encrypted WatchConnectivity framework.
Because all data is stored locally on your device and no personal information is transmitted to or held by Praxis Training LLC, you retain full control over your data at all times. You can delete all App data by uninstalling Coach's Vault. You can revoke Health permissions in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
